Ark Angel is the sixth and final book in the Alex Rider series. The book is about Alex Rider, a seemingly normal fourteen year old boy, who secretly is a spy. At the beginning, Alex is recovering from a sniper’s bullet. He had to stay at the Saint Dominic’s hospital, a five star hospital where many famous people stay at, thanks to his spy organization, MI6. At the hospital, a neighbor named Paul Drevin (who is the son of Nikolai Drevin) almost gets kidnapped. In an attempt to save his friend, Alex gets tangled into a terrorist group called Force Three. Nikolai Drevin, who Alex soon realizes is a billionaire, invites Alex to stay with him in gratitude of saving his son during his recuperation. Alex accepts the life of luxury not knowing what would lie ahead. As Alex gets to know the real Nikolai Drevin, he discovers a sinister plot that could make a giant impact on the whole United States. This book is full of action with many twists and turns.
Rating
I would give this book a 9 out of 10 because it is full of tense action. Even though it has page turning suspense, I had to take off one point. The story was very similar to the others, but if you are loyal to the series, you will defiantly love it.
